M.E.C. ® Rolls

The production of sheathing to cover the rollers is generally oriented towards the ceramics sector, where it is used a great deal, although nowadays it can be found outside this sector, in the fitness field, for example.
The range includes 5 large families:

  PVC
  PVC + NEOPRENE
  POLIURETHANE
  SILICONE
  SPINGUM

Suitable for the following applications
:

1. PVC + SOFT PVC: generally used on kiln outlet machines where operating temperatures are not particularly high (approx.70°C).

2. PVC + NEOPRENE: used in kiln outlets where temperatures reach 100 -105°C. Very often, the first 6-7 rollers on these machines are covered with the PVC + NEOPRENE product, while normal PVC is used for the remaining rollers at the end of the track.

3. POLYURETHANE: recent production, whose wear resistance at high temperatures or in the presence of abrasive materials is a good 6-7 times lower than that of PVC or PVC + NEOPRENE. Available in the neutral colour option only.

4. SILICONE: used where machines are subjected to extremely high temperatures (150/200°); the disadvantage of silicone is that it wears rapidly when it comes into contact with abrasive material (such as tiles).

5. SPINGUM: high-tech product composed of a mix of 25 Shore rubber with straightened external surfaces; almost always used for the engobe distribution device on the glazing lines.
