GUMATEX®-GT5 belts have a brand new, high-tech
design for screen-printing machines used in
the ceramics industry. They are produced with the
same systems and technology as are used for belts for
motor vehicles, whose essential property is the resistance
to the great stresses they are subjected to in their daily
use, guaranteeing them a long working life.
The features that differentiate them from those produced
by A Zeta Gomma earlier include:
1. The rubber and neoprene-impregna
ted textile base that covers the tooth to improve
its flow and reduce noise levels during the rolling phase
and on contact with the pulley.
2. The highly resistant and flexible fibreglass inserts
that guarantee there is absolutely no stretching, even
with heavy loads, and ensure the belt winds around even
the smallest of diameters, without any effect on its features.
3. The outer covering or surfacing, composed of
a special soft mix designed to prevent wear and jamming,
to stand up to heavy contact work, and to accompany the
tile in the delicate silk-screen decoration phase.
A Zeta Gomma can supply this line of products with
any pitch and with a maximum width of 500mm.
